The Reddish Vulcans JFC soccer school has been serving the Stockport football community for 27 years.

The most memorable graduate of course is Manchester City FC, England International, U17s World Cup Winner (Player of  the Tournament)  Phil Foden.

Phil who originates from Edgeley, Stockport, started at Vulcans when he was 7 years of age playing a year up for the Vulcans Tornados.

That was a memorable time when along with Diego Latte (now Wolves FC) Mace Goodridge (now Burnley FC) & Louie White (now Rochdale FC) formed a formidable team winning the U8s North West Junior Champions League 2008.

Joe Makin ( MCFC ) has overseen the soccer school from its inception, in that time hundreds if not thousands of children have happily attend the coaching sessions feeling comfortable in the safe & friendly environment.

On a positive note in recent years the following boys have also gone on to professional careers:

James Jennings – Wrexham FC

Connor Jennings – Tranmere FC ( scored the last minute winning goal in the Division 1 play-off final at Wembley 2019 )

Joel Senior – Burnley FC

Jacob Davenport – Blackburn Rovers FC

D’Mani Mellor who making his debut for Man United FC in the Europa League 2019.
